VALUTRANS Compliance

Valutrans priority is to comply with all laws, rules and regulations to prevent money laundering activities established by the different EU Governments and Regulators. Based on this Valutrans has implemented risk-based policies and procedures to comply with the laws of each jurisdiction, in which Valutrans operates. Valutrans Compliance Department conducts enhanced due diligence on all Agents and Correspondents before their Appointment. All remittances processed by Valutrans are screened with enhanced controls to prevent money laundering and terrorist financing.

Valutrans also complies with the Office of Foreign Asset Control (“OFAC”) and adheres to all European Union, United Nations and other countries sanction lists, including PEP’s. In addition Valutrans has developed its own sanction list, generated from its own resources and information exchanged with our partners and correspondents.

Valutrans is in constant communication and coordination with the authorities and regulators, to exchange criteria for the better control and development of the money remittance business.

We provide to our agents and correspondents guidance regarding AML and CTF, as well as our own policies and procedures. If you have any questions, please contact us at
